Home Grow Academy LLC ("Home Grow Academy," "HGA," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. It applies to our website at homegrowacademy.com (the "Site") and to our educational programs, courses, coaching, communications, and related services (together, the "Services").

1. Who We Are

Home Grow Academy LLC is a California limited liability company that provides educational content about the legal cultivation of industrial hemp. We do not sell hemp products, seeds, plants, flower, extracts, or consumables of any kind. Our Services are informational and educational.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you visit our Site, book a call, submit a form, opt in to a free resource, contact us, or enroll in a program, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number;
  • Information you voluntarily share about your growing situation, goals, or experience;
  • Booking and scheduling details (for consultations and coaching);
  • Billing and enrollment information. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

Information we collect automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address, device type, browser type, and operating system;
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring URLs, and other usage data;
  • Information collected through cookies, pixels, and analytics tools (see Section 5).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and schedule and conduct consultations and coaching;
  • Provide, operate, personalize, and improve our educational programs and Services;
  • Process enrollments and payments and administer payment plans;
  • Send you administrative messages, updates, and (where permitted) marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing at any time;
  • Maintain the security, integrity, and functionality of the Site and Services;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may share information as follows:

  • Service providers. With trusted third parties that perform services on our behalf, for example, our website/course platform (Kajabi), payment processor, scheduling tools, email and marketing platforms, and analytics providers, only as needed for them to perform those services.
  • Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Home Grow Academy, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this Privacy Policy.
  • With your consent. When you direct or authorize us to share your information.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking

Our Site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and improve your experience. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly without them.

"Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, our Site may not respond to DNT signals. If you provide your phone number, you consent to be contacted by phone, text message, or email regarding your inquiry, booking, enrollment, or account. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP, and out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link. We may still send you non-marketing messages about your account or transactions.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Know / access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Delete your personal information;
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law); and
  • Be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.

California residents. The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA/CPRA), provides the rights described above. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Site and Services are intended for adults only and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

Home Grow Academy is based in the United States and our Services are intended for users in jurisdictions where home hemp cultivation is legal. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.
